Milan, Oct. 2 (LaPresse) – "The Israeli occupation naval forces are actively using aggression against the Global Sumud Flotilla. The ship Florida was deliberately rammed at sea. The Yulara, the Meteque, and other vessels were targeted with water cannons," the activists report.
"These illegal attacks against unarmed humanitarian ships constitute a war crime. All passengers on board are unharmed," the statement reads.

There are over 200 activists on board the vessels, coming from more than 30 countries. These include 30 Spanish citizens, 22 Italians, 21 Turks, 12 Malaysians, 11 Tunisians and Brazilians, 10 French, 9 Irish, 8 Algerians, 7 Americans, 7 Germans, and 6 Britons.

"The mission continues to break the siege on Gaza," said Saif Abukeshek, a member of the Global Sumud Flotilla steering committee, in an update on Instagram, specifying that 30 boats are heading toward the Strip, with those on board "determined and motivated."
