Manila (Philippines), 10 October. (LaPresse) – A 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck a southern province of the Philippines two hours ago, triggering a tsunami warning. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said it expects damage and aftershocks from the earthquake, which had its epicentre in the sea southeast of the city of Manay, in the province of Davao Oriental. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre in Honolulu said dangerous waves were possible within 186 miles of the epicentre. The forecast included the nearby coasts of the Philippines, Indonesia and Palau.
