Turin, 10 October (LaPresse) – Russia would support US President Donald Trump's nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, according to Russian presidential adviser Yuri Ushakov. ‘I think we would support it immediately if they asked us,’ he said in an interview reported by Russian media. Ushakov also criticised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who said that Kiev could push for Trump to win the Nobel Prize if he delivers Tomahawk missiles to Kiev. ‘So, a peace prize for supplying weapons? Even the idea is monstrous. If people think in these terms, it speaks volumes about who they are,’ said the Russian presidential adviser.
