The war in Europe can also be stopped, and for this, the leadership of the United States and other partners is of the utmost importance," wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on X. "Today," he added, "I spent almost an hour discussing all of this with Finnish President Alexander Stubb. We are coordinating our positions. It is important that President Trump managed to implement the necessary measures to ensure the release of hostages and stop the war in Gaza. Undoubtedly, the right actions by the United States can also help end Russia’s war against Ukraine. We share a consistent vision in this regard." Zelensky also stated that "we discussed with Alex the recent Russian attacks on our energy sector and the need to strengthen air defense. I am grateful for his willingness to help. Russia must be deprived of the means to continue its war and terror, and this can become the most reliable foundation for peace in our region".
