Milan, Oct. 16 (LaPresse) – A massive attack with Ukrainian drones was carried out against energy infrastructure in the Russian region of Volgograd. This was reported by Tass. Following the fall of debris, a fire broke out in the territory of the Balashovskaya power transmission substation, which is currently being extinguished, said Governor Andrei Bocharov. "The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation repelled a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles against energy infrastructure in the Volgograd region. Following the fall of drone debris in the Novonikolaevsky district, a fire was reported on the territory of the Balashovskaya power transmission substation, which was promptly extinguished by firefighters," the regional administration’s press service reported, quoting the governor’s words.
