Rome, Oct 17 (LaPresse) – The spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lin Jian, responding to a request for comment on the meeting announced by U.S. President Donald Trump with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Hungary, stated that China “supports all efforts that are conducive to the peaceful resolution of the crisis” in Ukraine and is “pleased to see that Russia and the United States maintain contact, improve their relations, and promote the political resolution of the crisis.” The news was reported by the Global Times.
