Rome, 19 October (LaPresse) – According to the Financial Times, citing sources familiar with the meeting, during Friday's face-to-face meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, the American president reportedly urged the Ukrainian leader to accept Russia's terms to end the war. According to a European official familiar with the meeting, quoted by the newspaper, Trump told Zelensky that the Ukrainian leader had to reach an agreement or face destruction. ‘If Putin wants to, he will destroy you,’ Trump reportedly told Zelensky.
