Brussels, Oct. 21 (LaPresse) – “I want to be honest: the challenges we face are even greater than a year ago: with the exponential growth of artificial intelligence; with the increasing use of export controls; and with global uncertainty, which puts both public finances and private investments under strain. We must therefore stay the course in implementing the Draghi report. But it must be a Draghi plus,” said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during the plenary debate at the European Parliament on the Commission’s 2026 work programme.
