Milan, 22 October (LaPresse) – Forty sub-Saharan migrants, including several newborns, died when their boat sank off the coast of Salakta, Tunisia, in the governorate of Mahdia. This was reported by the spokesperson for the Mahdia court, Walid Chatrbi, on Tunisian radio station Mosaïque FM, adding that another 30 people were rescued by the coastguard. The spokesperson added that the public prosecutor's office has ordered an investigation.
