Milan, 11 November (LaPresse) – ‘In an attempt to reduce the military and economic potential of the Russian aggressor, units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck the oil refinery in Saratov, in the Russian region of the same name, during the night.’ This was announced by the Ukrainian Army General Staff. The company produces more than 20 types of petroleum products: petrol, fuel oil, diesel, vacuum gas oil, technical sulphur, etc. The plant is also committed to meeting the needs of the Russian army. A series of explosions were recorded at the refinery, followed by a large fire.
