Washington (USA), Nov. 12 (LaPresse) – A US federal judge has ordered the release of hundreds of people arrested in immigration enforcement operations by the Trump administration in Chicago and Illinois, according to WLS, a CNN affiliate. Judge Jeffrey Cummings sided with lawyers from the National Immigration Justice Center and the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union). According to these organizations’ appeals, more than 3,000 people were arrested between June and October. Those who are released must post bail by noon on November 21.
