Madrid (Spain), 18 November (LaPresse) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has announced a new aid package for Ukraine worth €817 million. Of this, €615 million is earmarked for military aid. The €615 million includes “the shipment of €300 million worth of defence equipment, €100 million for the NATO Purl programme and €215 million through the Safe instrument”, the socialist leader explained at a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Spain will then deploy a new €200 million financial support instrument for the reconstruction of Ukraine and will allocate another €2 million to rebuild the central heating system of a Ukrainian town.
