Brussels, 24 Nov. (LaPresse) – With the US, "we also want to focus on a forward-looking agenda that includes critical minerals, where we share the goal of ensuring reliable supplies while strengthening our respective industrial bases. We have seen first-hand what excessive dependence can do to our industry and our economy. We must therefore act strategically and quickly, and I think my team will be travelling to the US in the coming weeks to address all these issues." This was stated by European Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic at a press briefing with US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick and US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer in Brussels.
