Rome, 24 Nov. (LaPresse) – ‘Putin wants legal recognition of what he has stolen, to violate the principle of territorial integrity and sovereignty. This is the main problem. You all understand what that means.’ This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video link with the Crimea Platform summit in Stockholm. Zelensky added that for now, ‘sensitive issues’ such as the release of all Ukrainian prisoners of war and the return of abducted Ukrainian children have been discussed at the negotiating table. But he argues that there is still much to be done and calls for decisions to be made on the use of frozen Russian assets. ‘The aggressor must pay in full for the war it started,’ said the Kiev leader.
