Milan, Dec. 2 (LaPresse) – “The time has come to transfer frozen Russian assets to Ukraine, so that we can reliably ensure both our defense and our recovery.” This was said by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a joint press conference in Dublin with Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin, as reported by The Guardian. “This will benefit not only us, but also our partners. We will give more orders to the countries that help us,” he added, emphasizing the need to hold Russia “accountable for aggression and war crimes.” “We note that the Russians have already launched new disinformation campaigns in anticipation of preparations for their upcoming meetings with the American side,” Zelensky had previously written in a social media post after meeting the delegation returning from the United States. “I have instructed to continue the most constructive work possible with President Trump’s team, as well as with our European partners. Ukrainian intelligence will provide partners with all available information on Russia’s real intentions and its attempts to use diplomatic engagement as cover to weaken sanctions and block important European collective decisions.”
