Minna (Nigeria), 8 December (LaPresse/AP) – One hundred students kidnapped on 21 November at St. Mary's Catholic School in the Nigerian state of Niger have been released, according to the Christian Association of Nigeria. During the attack, armed men kidnapped at least 303 students and 12 teachers; fifty students managed to escape immediately after the kidnapping. Despite the new release, more than 100 students remain in the hands of the kidnappers. The authorities have not provided details on the conditions of the release or the status of the hostages still being held.
