Rome, Dec. 9 (LaPresse) – “I met in Rome with the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. We had an excellent and very substantive discussion on all aspects of the diplomatic situation. We rely heavily on Italy’s continued support: it is important for Ukraine,” wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on X. “I also want to express my gratitude for the energy assistance package and the necessary equipment: it is exactly what will support Ukrainian families, our people, children, and daily life in our cities and communities, which continue to endure ongoing Russian attacks,” he added. “We must protect lives. Thank you, Italy!” Zelensky concluded.
