Milan, Dec. 14 (LaPresse) – Just hours after the deadly terrorist attack that took place in Sydney during a Hanukkah celebration, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he sent a letter in August to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, accusing Canberra of pouring fuel on the fire of antisemitism. This was reported by The Times of Israel. Paraphrasing his letter, Netanyahu said that Albanese’s policies, including recognition of the Palestinian state, encourage “hatred of Jews that is now raging in your streets. Antisemitism is a cancer. It spreads when leaders remain silent. You must replace weakness with action.”
