Madrid (Spain), 15 Dec. (LaPresse) – Since 2018, i.e. since the beginning of Pedro Sanchez's government, ‘real disposable household income, net of inflation, has increased by 10%’. This was stated by the Spanish Prime Minister himself at a press conference at the Moncloa Palace, where he is taking stock of the executive's activities. The leader then pointed out that the average wage has grown by 17%, which has tripled household savings, and that poverty is now at its lowest level in the historical series. Sanchez said that ‘it is undeniable that much remains to be done, and that the purchasing power of Spaniards is still low and too many people live in precarious conditions’ but, he said, ‘it is also undeniable that we are moving in the right direction to solve the problems,’ the solution to which ‘lies in the redistribution policy being implemented by the government.’
