Las Vegas (USA), Dec. 17 (LaPresse) – The New York Knicks won the 2025 NBA Cup, defeating the San Antonio Spurs 124-113 in the final in Las Vegas. After three fairly even quarters, the Knicks pulled away, led by OG Anunoby, who scored 28 points, and Jalen Brunson, who scored 25. Karl-Anthony Towns also made a decisive contribution, finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds despite a calf injury that limited his playing time. New York built its success by dominating under the basket, with a clear 59-42 advantage in the final rebound count. This is the third edition of the NBA Cup, previously won by the Los Angeles Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Each player on the winning team earns an extra $318,560 for winning the trophy.
