Turin, 25 Dec. (LaPresse) – "We are celebrating Christmas in difficult times. Unfortunately, we are not all at home, and not all of us, sadly, have a home. But despite the problems that Russia has brought, it is unable to occupy or bomb the most important thing. Our Ukrainian heart. Our mutual faith and our unity.‘ This is one of the passages from the message that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed to the country on the occasion of Christmas. ’Today, Ukrainians celebrate Christmas together on the same date, like one big family," he added. Zelensky then pointed out that the dreams of all Ukrainians these days are similar, referring to the possible fate of Vladimir Putin, whom he does not name. ‘Today we all have a dream. That he may die, everyone may think to themselves,’ said the Ukrainian president. ‘But when we turn to God, of course, we ask for something greater. We ask for peace for Ukraine. We fight for it. And we pray for it. And we deserve it,’ he added.
