Milan, Jan. 6 (LaPresse) – “Out of respect for the period of mourning and remembrance that this tragedy requires, and also due to the current state of the investigation, for the time being we will make statements only in this context, and we have full confidence in the investigators to clarify the facts and answer all questions. We assure you that we are fully cooperating and will not evade any aspect of this matter.” This is stated in a note published by Jessica and Jacques Moretti, owners of the Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, where a fire that broke out on New Year’s night killed at least 40 people.
“In conclusion, we would like to thank everyone who has offered us their support. It is an invaluable contribution for us,” they add. “We are now being supported by Ms Yaël Hayat, Ms Nicola Meier and Mr Patrick Michod. With all our solidarity, Jessica and Jacques Moretti.”
