Milan, Jan. 7 (LaPresse) – Due to snowfall and strong winds, more than 700 flights have already been canceled today at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The vast majority are KLM flights. Schiphol expects this number to increase further. In total, approximately 1,100 flights were scheduled for today, according to De Telegraaf. Over a thousand stranded travelers spent the night at the airport awaiting information. Several flights at Rotterdam-The Hague Airport were also canceled this morning due to winter conditions. At Eindhoven Airport, the flight schedule appears normal and there have been no major flight cancellations.
