Beijing, Jan 12 (LaPresse) – “We have always opposed interference in the internal affairs of other countries and have always maintained that the sovereignty and security of all countries should receive full protection under international law. We oppose the use of force or the threat of force in international relations. We call on all parties to take further actions that promote peace and stability in the Middle East.” This was stated by a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mao Ning, in response to a question about the protests in Iran and the threats of intervention by US President Donald Trump. The Global Times reported it. “China hopes that the Iranian government and people can overcome the current difficulties and maintain national stability,” the spokesperson added.
