Rome, Jan. 12 (LaPresse) – The state flight carrying Alberto Trentini and Mario Burlò, the two Italians recently released from Venezuelan prisons, is expected to arrive at Rome’s Ciampino Airport in the early hours of tomorrow morning. Both men were freed after prolonged diplomacy following their detention in Caracas. They are currently at the Italian Embassy in Venezuela and will soon begin their journey home. It is not ruled out that Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni may be present to welcome them, as she did previously for the return of Italian journalist Cecilia Sala from Iran.
