"Based on this agreement, I will not impose the customs duties that were due to come into effect on 1 February. Further discussions are ongoing regarding the “Golden Dome” project in relation to Greenland. Further information will be made available as negotiations proceed. Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and others, as necessary, will be responsible for the negotiations and will report directly to me," Trump concluded.
