Brussels, 26 January (LaPresse) – ‘Europe is now building its defence industry, and this is vital, but at the moment it cannot provide Ukraine with what it needs to defend itself today and to deter’ attacks in the future. Rutte therefore encourages ‘continuing to supply weapons to Ukraine, but we all know that without this flow of arms from the United States, we literally cannot keep Ukraine able to fight.’ This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in his speech to the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) and Committee on Security and Defence (SEDE).
