Turin, 26 January (LaPresse) – Minnesota Governor Tim Walz's office has confirmed that Walz had a “productive” conversation with US President Donald Trump. This was reported by US media, according to which the office said that Trump agreed to speak with the Department of Homeland Security to ensure that ‘state investigators can conduct independent investigations into the shootings of Pretti and Renee Nicole Good by federal officials.’ ‘The president also agreed to consider reducing the number of federal agents in Minnesota and to work with the state in a more coordinated manner on the enforcement of immigration laws against violent criminals,’ the governor's office said.
