Milan, 1 February (LaPresse) – Israel's Ministry of Diaspora Affairs has announced that Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) will cease its activities in the Gaza Strip by 28 February because it has not provided Israel with a list of its employees and has said it will not do so. ‘This follows a substantial and ongoing violation of existing registration procedures, which are designed to facilitate legitimate humanitarian activities and prevent the misuse of humanitarian cover for hostile activities and terrorism,’ the Israeli ministry said, adding that ‘the violation concerns MSF's failure to submit a list of local employees’.
