Milan, 7 February (LaPresse) – The Vice President of the United States of America, JD Vance, arrived with his family in Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie to visit Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper, the masterpiece depicting Jesus' last supper with his apostles. Vance, who converted to Catholicism in 2019, will visit the basilica where he will gather in prayer: the central nave has been completely cleared of chairs for the occasion, with the exception of five benches, while a lectern with an open Bible has been placed in the centre of the room.
