New York (USA), Feb. 19 (LaPresse) – There will be no United Nations representatives at the first meeting of the Board of Peace for Gaza in Washington. This was confirmed by spokesperson Stephane Dujarric during a media briefing. Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Tom Fletcher "had been invited to participate. Unfortunately, due to a busy schedule and a previously postponed trip to South Sudan, he cannot attend," he explained. "We are still providing information in discussions on the humanitarian work we have carried out since the ceasefire," he added.
