Turin, 10 March (LaPresse) – Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sabbar Al Sudani told US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that Iraq should not be used as a springboard for attacks in the Middle East war. Al Jazeera reported this, citing the prime minister's press office. In a phone call with Rubio, Al Sudani stressed ‘the importance of ensuring that Iraqi airspace, territory and waters are not used for any military action directed against neighbouring countries or the region.’ Al Sudani rejected ‘any attempt to drag the country into ongoing conflicts,’ as well as ‘violations of its airspace by any party.’
