Rome, 11 March (LaPresse) – The FBI has reportedly warned California police departments in recent days that Iran could respond to American attacks by launching drones on the west coast. ABC News reports this, explaining that it has examined the warning in question. According to the alert, dated late February, the FBI had acquired information that Iran was “aspiring to conduct a surprise attack using unmanned aircraft from an unidentified vessel off the coast of the United States against unspecified targets in California, should the United States conduct attacks against Iran”. The FBI stated that it had no further information regarding ‘the timing, methods, targets or perpetrators of this alleged attack’.
