Turin, 14 March (LaPresse) – The United Kingdom is considering a ‘range of options’ after US President Donald Trump urged certain countries to send warships to keep the Strait of Hormuz open. “As we have previously stated, we are currently discussing a range of options with our allies and partners to ensure the safety of navigation in the region,” said a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, as reported by Sky News UK. Trump stated that it is “hoped” that the UK, China, France, Japan and South Korea will be among the countries sending warships.
