Colombia: military plane crashes, death toll stands at least 66

Bogotá (Colombia), 24 March (LaPresse) – The death toll from the crash of a military plane that went down shortly after take-off in Puerto Leguizamo, Colombia, stands at least 66, with dozens injured. There were 128 people on board the aircraft, including 115 members of the Army, 11 crew members and 2 members of the National Police. Puerto Leguizamo is located in Putumayo, an Amazonian province on the border with Ecuador and Peru.
