Milan, May 3 (LaPresse) – Iran's parliament is preparing to pass a law imposing restrictions on which ships are allowed to cross the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported by Iranian TV Press TV, relaunched by CNN. Quoting Parliament Deputy Speaker Ali Nikzad, Press TV reported that under the proposed 12-point plan, Israeli ships will never be allowed to pass. Ships from "hostile countries" will be required to pay war reparations to obtain a permit before crossing the waterway, CNN writes, noting that this is a likely reference to the United States. Meanwhile, yesterday the US military reported intercepting 48 ships in 20 days as part of Washington's naval blockade of Iranian ports.
