Rome, June 4 (LaPresse) – “There will be no peace in the region” without the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said. “Our preliminary condition for accepting a ceasefire in the regional war has been a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon,” reads a statement issued by the IRGC, as reported by Al Jazeera. “The enemy must urgently stop its attacks against the Lebanese people and immediately withdraw beyond the international borders, evacuating the occupied territories of Lebanon and recognizing Lebanon’s territorial integrity,” the statement concludes.
