Washington (USA), 10 June (LaPresse) – " I believe it is very important to respond.” Donald Trump said this whilst speaking to ABC News, prior to the announcement of the US retaliatory strike against Iran following the downing of the Apache helicopter. “I believe it is very important to respond. They shot down a helicopter and we are responding right now,” said the US president. “I believe in a firm response. I have always done so throughout my life. And we have a deal that was great, and probably will be again,‘ the president continued. ’This is a response to what they did to our helicopter last night; I believe the response must be very firm, very powerful, and that is exactly the case," he concluded. Following the phone call with CBS News, CENTCOM announced the attack.
