Madrid (Spain), 6 June (LaPresse) – Pope Leo XIV, aboard the papal flight to Madrid, was questioned by journalists regarding certain statements made by the US Vice-President, J.D. Vance, who claimed that the war in Iran is a just war. “I believe it has already been stated very clearly: there is no such thing as a just war there. The problem is that the theory of just war stems from centuries past; it did not even take into account the weapons and capacity for destruction available to humankind today,” said the Pontiff, according to El País.
