Milan, 5 May (LaPresse) – “There is much to be said about the latest, yet another, load of nonsense spouted by the President of the Senate, and about the gravity of his remarks on the Flotilla, starting with the notion of ‘being lucky enough to be stopped and then being able to claim one has been tortured’, whilst the world is watching the abuse and violence inflicted by the Israeli army on those who have been abducted.” This is the view of Nicola Fratoianni of AVS. “What is important now, however,” continues the Red-Green leader, “is not to allow the Israeli government to continue the illegal detention of the two members of the mission still in prison, whilst the war criminal and corrupt Netanyahu continues to evade justice.” ‘And the Italian government should show a modicum of dignity,’ concludes Fratoianni, ‘as other European governments have demonstrated, and continue with the initiative to secure the release of the two activists.’
