Rome, May 7 (LaPresse) – “Progress and development are often understood exclusively in economic terms. But this is not the case. Well-being depends on multiple factors. Also on the friendship that exists between people, on the sense of security that comes from feeling surrounded by people who work together for the common good.” This is what President Sergio Mattarella said at the ceremony for the awarding of honours to the new Knights of the Republic. “The younger years are those in which one is naturally inclined to build friendships,” he added. “You have already begun to do so. My wish is that you continue in this direction.”
