Milan, 11 May (LaPresse) – "Listening is the key to progress, to life. It should be the easiest thing to do. We were born to listen. It is always strange‘ that listening ’has always been an incomprehensibly difficult art‘ and yet ’it should be the most practised, with everyone, always. Listening to everyone, always, is not a courtesy, it is an enrichment, it is an indispensable thing. This applies to any kind of project. Listening is the path to peace. If, on the international stage, people listened a little more, we would benefit greatly from it.” This was stated by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, at the Renzo Piano Foundation, at the Politecnico di Milano, during a discussion with the star architect and life senator and a group of students.
