Rome, 20 May (LaPresse) – Sergio Mattarella has harshly criticised the video showing Flotilla activists detained by Israel, in which Israeli Minister of National Security Ben Gvir appears. The Head of State speaks of “uncivilised treatment inflicted on people illegally detained in international waters, which reaches a new low at the hands of a minister in the Israeli government”. This is according to a statement from the Quirinale press office.
