Simeone’s side lost at home to the Blaugrana (1-2) but advanced thanks to their 2-0 victory in the first leg at Camp Nou. Barça gave the hosts a scare with goals from Yamal (4’) and Torres (24’), before Lookman pulled one back (31’). Barça finished the match with ten men after Garcia was sent off in the 79th minute. The Colchoneros will face the winner of the quarterfinal between Arsenal and Sporting Lisbon.
