Madrid, Apr 28 (LaPresse) – Jannik Sinner continues his run at the Mutua Madrid Open, the Masters 1000 tournament taking place on clay at the Caja Mágica. The South Tyrolean, world number 1 in the rankings, reaches the quarterfinals by defeating British player Cameron Norrie, world number 23, in straight sets 6-3 7-5 in 1 hour and 27 minutes. The Italian now has 25 consecutive wins at Masters 1000 level. For a place in the semifinals, the Italian will face the winner of the match between Czech player Vit Kopriva and Spanish wildcard Rafael Jodar.
