Milan, 12 May (LaPresse) – The Ducati Lenovo Team has confirmed that Marc Marquez, who underwent successful surgery following his crash in the Tissot Sprint at the French Grand Prix, will not be replaced this coming weekend at the Monster Energy Catalan Grand Prix. Having undergone successful surgery on his right foot and shoulder in Madrid – according to a statement – the Spaniard has already begun his recovery programme and, given the short time available between Le Mans and Catalunya, Francesco Bagnaia will be the sole rider for the official Ducati team at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
