Rome, 12 May (LaPresse) – Giovanni Malagò has also officially announced his candidacy for the presidency of the FIGC, joining Giancarlo Abete. This morning, a representative of the former CONI president visited the headquarters in Via Allegri to submit his candidacy. Malagò had already announced yesterday evening his intention to lift his reservations and make his candidacy official. The FIGC now has until 22 May to publish its acceptance. Along with the mandate from one of the constituent bodies, the candidates submitted their manifestos and nominations for the next Federal Council. Abete submitted his in person, whilst Malagò did so via a delegate.
