Milan beat Genoa 2-1 at Marassi and return to third place on 70 points, behind Conte’s Azzurri, who sit second on 73. The Rossoneri’s goals came from Nkunku and Athekame, with the hosts pulling one back through Vasquez in the closing stages. Roma also sit on 70 points after winning the Rome derby against Lazio, thanks to a brace from Mancini. Juventus suffered a home defeat against Fiorentina, who won at the Stadium thanks to goals from Ndour and Mandragora. The Bianconeri sit on 68 points and have been caught by Como, who beat Parma 1-0 at home with a goal from Moreno. Fabregas’s side are ahead on head-to-head record, having won both matches against Spalletti’s team.
