Rome, 20 May (LaPresse) – The air is thick with revolution at Lazio. It is set to be a very eventful summer for Serie A managers, with a whirlwind of managerial changes on the horizon, the outcome of which is anyone’s guess. The one who seems to have his bags packed is undoubtedly Maurizio Sarri: amid tensions within the club, discontent among the fans and a transfer window that was first frozen and then failed to satisfy him, the Tuscan manager sees his time with the Biancocelesti coming to an end. The Biancocelesti management are already considering a replacement and, as reported by Agipronews, the bookmakers’ favourite is Raffaele Palladino, who has fallen out with Atalanta – a side he nevertheless guided to the Conference League – and is priced at 2.00 for Lazio by the betting analysts at Sisal and Snai. Fabio Grosso, fresh from an excellent season with Sassuolo, follows at 5.00. In the last few hours, however, the name of Miroslav Klose has emerged: the former striker, who remains in the hearts of Lazio fans, is seeking his big chance as a manager, and his sensational return to Rome is priced at 6.00. Further behind is Thiago Motta (7.50), the hottest name in recent hours, still under contract with Juventus and keen to relaunch his career after his last negative experience with the Bianconeri.
