Paris, May 31 (LaPresse) – One person has died and another has been seriously injured in incidents that occurred on the margins of celebrations for Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League victory. This was reported by the Paris prosecutor’s office. Around 1:10 a.m., a fatal road accident took place: according to two witnesses, the rider of an off-road motorbike, born in 2002, collided head-on with concrete barriers at an exit ramp of the outer ring road towards Porte Maillot. Furthermore, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office, later in the night another person was seriously injured in the 16th arrondissement, where passers-by reported “an attempted intentional homicide by four individuals armed, in particular with a knife.” The injured person is in critical condition. The prosecutor’s office stated that, according to witnesses, the victim is an 18-year-old who allegedly committed a theft, and the suspects fled.
